“Twelve years ago I started buying bulls from Gillis Angus because we were good friends. Now I buy them because they are good bulls. Over the years, I have bought enough bulls that 70% of my bulls come from Gillis Angus. These are fertile, good footed bulls that leave calves that are born easily with good growth and ability to finish early. They also have great hair and eye appeal. The heifers are great mothers with good longevity. Over the years my steer calves have brought top prices in Maple Creek, Swift Current and Medicine Hat”.

| Feeding Program |
| 1. Feeding Program |
* Bulls are not creep fed.
* Weaning weights are derived from green grass and mother's milk.
* Upon weaning, calves are performance tested on a ration designed to achieve 2-3 pounds per day weight gain.
* Calves are put on a quality mineral program. |
| 2. Genetic Seleciton |
* Bull selection is based on good feet and legs. This ensures that our bulls can travel the distance needed to get the job done.
* Easy fleshing - enough depth capacity that allows our bulls to thrive in our cold winters and hot/dry summers.
* Sires selected are known for their strong maternal traits. |
| 3. Sales Guarantees |
* Terms and Conditions: You pick the day, You pick the time, You pick the bull.
* If you are happy with our bulls, tell others, if not, tell US! We want your feedback, positive or negative. |
| 4. Quality Vs. Quantity |
* Producing top quality bulls is what is at the heart of this operation, even if it means putting out fewer bulls to get us there.
* The number of bulls may vary, but the quality never does. |
| 5. Will Gillis Angus Bulls work for you? |
* We raise bulls for our own commercial herd as well as those of our valued customers, so our philosophy is, if it doesn't work for us, it doesn't work for you.
*We are Ranchers selling bulls to ranchers. |
