Steve and Sue Gillis have been happily married for 28 years. They have four children, Angie, Cindy, Jeff and Kelly. Steve began his career with the PFRA in 1987 and has gained substantial experience in the cattle industry. Currently, he works part time for the PFRA in order to dedicate more time to his ranch. Sue is the Superivsor of the Ponteix Credit Union and has acquired excellent business knowledge.

Steve and Sue began their commercial herd in 1987 with 30 head of cattle. In 1990 they purchased 5 purebred Angus bred cows. Over the years, Steve and Sue's business has been blessed and they have been able to expand thier land base and herd to 250 Commerical head and 60-80 Purebred Angus.

Their goal remains to provide top quality Angus bulls to ranchers who want to maximize their herd production.

Steve and Sue are happy with the tremendous support that they have recieved for their purebred operation from all of their friends and neighbors. They welcome existing customers as well as newcomers to call and/or stop by anytime. Steve and Sue would like to hear how things are going with your operation over a cup of coffee or tea.

We have developed a high standard in herd selection and in raising sound functional cattle that will look after themselves.  Our cattle will work for everyone.

Because of the growing demands on ranchers in today’s cattle market, we are excited to make available a great way to add quality to your cow herd without the time commitments, travel costs and pressures of bull sales.  We are making available fifteen to twenty of our top cut bulls for sale by private treaty.

With over 30 years experience in the cattle business, we are proven breeders in Saskatchewan and we stand behind our bulls.  We have an excellent reputation for doing “good business” and have a strong commitment to your breeding  program.

We invite you to come and view our bulls at your convenience.  For further information, please feel free to call us at (306)625-3709 or stop by the farm for a visit.
